The hotel is built of stone and brick in a more “modern” style than that of the Place des Vosges. It comprises two parallel buildings, each with its own roof. The portal to rue Geoffroy-Lasnier was built in 1659.

The architect is unknown.
The client was Guillaume Perrochel, Treasurer of France.
Long leased to the Châlon family, the building was sold in 1658 to Madame Béon-Luxembourg.
