What are the architectural features of the Hôtel de Rohan-Guéméné?

The Hôtel de Rohan-Guéméné comprises a central main building overlooking the Place des Vosges, and two wings serving as outbuildings, each with ten cross-beamed facades and opening onto courtyards of honor. These courtyards are surrounded by offices, stables and sheds. They were also connected to impasse Guéméné and number 17 rue des Tournelles.

The courtyard features one of the last Louis-Philippe fountains in Paris.

The central dwelling covers nos. 6 and 6bis Place des Vosges.

The rue des Tournelles wing, also known as the eastern facade, has remained intact. It has retained its early 17th-century style of stone and cob. It forms a “U” shape. The interior staircases are of fine 17th-century construction.
